This baby milestone session in near and dear to me. As this little baby boy is my birthday twin! I not only have had the pleasure of capturing in his mommy’s tummy but also his journey earth-side. Now seeing him a whole year later I’m blown away. Once a newborn, now a one year old. Therefore, its only natural we celebrate in style with a Woodland Cake Smash Photography session sprinkled with a dash of Lumberjack.

Check out those baby blues. As usual, we begin with a few images before the smash cake is present. As cake smash photography has a tendency to get quite messy. Therefore, we soak up a few shots before we embrace the mess.

Next is time for the fun. One year only comes around once. For my Birthday twin, his mom prepared the best of best smash cake. Not only does it look scrumptious, its actually healthy. I have to admit, I did sneak some bites in myself.
Yep, diving right in! Like a champ, this little man knows how to devour his cake.
I love these cake smash photography sessions. For this little guy makes me laugh every time I see him. Full of personality and spunk. We did have a fail safe plan. If he didn’t take to the cake, we would put an avocado in it, because this guy LOVES his avocado.
As you can see, the cake was satisfactory.
Furthermore, no cake smash photography session is complete without a foot in the cake. I highly encourage a good frosting foot in the mix.
